To iOS 8.4.1.. Should not have done that. It’s like running in treacle.

Yep yep!! You’ll especially notice that Safari keeps reloading pages while you view them. Download the Mercury browser from the App Store (free). It’s the only way you’ll be able to surf comfortably.

I can’t remember if it was iOS 7 or 8 that really slowed down my iPad 2, but yeah, it had become pretty worthless. I tried a few different Android tablets before ending up with a Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 10”. Still need to get around to seeking that iPad 2 while it’s worth something.

I’m using chrome, but I’ll give mercury a try.

You can downgrade it too. It’s not hard at all. iOS 7 was the last time the iPad 2 handled its software well.

I can’t afford a new tablet, But if I could I’d get a Lenovo.

My iPad 2 is still on 7. Didn't update on purpose.

I needed some software that would not run on iOS 6, should’ve found a way to update to 7.. Ahh well, live and learn.

Not really a reference, it was the only word I could think of that describes how slow this iOS 8 shit is. Now that I think of it I could have used the word bog or mire :p but one tends to not think all that well at half past way too early in the morning :p
